The Love Child of a Tortoiseshell Persian type and a Silver Maine Coon type, both strays, Emily was born on the porch of my house in Maryland on my birthday. Her mother would move her around, forget where she put her and then come crying to me that she lost her kitten. She's named after the Simon and Garfunkel song, "For Emily, Whenever I might find her" Emily died May 16, 2002. She was 10. I miss her sweetness. |
