Like Emily, he born to a group of strays that hung out on my porch in Maryland. He's the only cat I know of that would give you a high five on command.
He wasn't the brightest of cats -- sort of Jethro Clampett in a cat suit -- but he was very loving and lovable and silly and goofy.
Tiger died March 28, 2003, shortly after his 11th birthday.
